Opportunities to Help
Here at the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies (IMMS) we are often asked "How can I help?" Whether it is a student at a local elementary school, a visitor to our website that is fascinated by the animals they learn about, or someone sitting at home watching our staff's efforts to save local marine mammals that are stranded and/or injured in the waters of the Gulf Coast, our answer is always the same...get involved!
One great way to get involved is to support the research and conservation efforts of IMMS and receive interesting and informative benefits at the same time. Even if you cannot visit our facility, you can still stay informed and show support by becoming a member of IMMS.
All members receive our semi-annual electronic newsletter and a membership card representing the level of membership. All paying members will receive a 10% discount at our gift shop, as well as additional discounts for our organized programs.
