Date: April 22, 2011The Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi is hosting an Earth Day Concert to benefit local green organizations including IMMS! The Eco-Rocks concert will feature great local bands like Bonerama, Dirty Play, Suns of Eden, Cartoonhead, and RHB. Doors open at 7:15pm with shows starting at 7:30pm. Other festivities begin at 2pm and go on until 10pm.
All proceeds from tickets sold by IMMS benefit the Institute. Tickets are $22. To purchase tickets, call 228-701-1768 or email lauren@imms.org.
Ongoing FundraiserThis starfish ornament, inspired by the 'Starfish Thrower Story", was created by Mississippi clay artist R J Webb as a fundraiser for IMMS. $5 from the sale of each clay starfish goes directly to helping IMMS save wildlife.

When members of this Sante Fe band heard about the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill in the Gulf, they wanted to do something to help. That's when drummer Dave Fant got creative. He wrote a song about the devastation and is offering the song free on their website to raise awareness and to help raise money to assist IMMS with rescue efforts.

Hands Across the Sand events are being held all across the globe and the Sierra Club of Southern Nevada used this event to collect donations to assist oil spill cleanup efforts. The event was a huge success and the group collected over 100 bottles of Dawn and two barrels of rags that were donated to IMMS.

Date: June 19, 2010The YMCA of Ocean Springs Mississippi collected donations and supplies for IMMS and other animal rescue organizations assisting with the Gulf oil spill. The much needed supplies were well received thanks to the generous citizens of Ocean Springs.
Date: July 16th, 2010 This benefit concert will feature the Mayapuris and will benefit the IMMS in oil spill relief efforts. The concert will begin at 7 PM on Friday, July 16th at the Earth Path Yoga Studio at 110 Second St. in Bay St. Louis.

Date: July 16th, 2010 Taking the love of volleyball to a new level! Coast to Coast Volleyball and Events is hosting a volleyball turnament to raise money for the work that IMMS is doing. 100% of the profits will be donated.

Date: July 29th, 2010 This benefit concert will feature local D.C. musicians and will benefit the Institute and the Second Harvest Food Bank of New Orleans. A limited addition t-shirt designed by DURKL will be sold and a raffle will be held to raise money to aid in oil spill relief efforts.

Fundraiser for the Month of JulyThe exhibit and fundraiser kicked off to a great start at the July 9th opening reception. The Gallery artists have joined together and will donate 10% of the gallery sales for the month of July to the Institute and to the Pascagoula River Audubon Center.

Date: July 19th, 2010A henna painting birthday party inspired two girls to hold a unique fundraiser. The girls held a special henna painting party to raise money for IMMS. The fun temporary tattoos were given in exchange for donations.
Date: August 7th, 2010On August 7th, Petland of D'Iberville MS will be hosting a pet food give away drive for residents affected by the Gulf Oil Spill. From 10AM to 12 Noon at the D'Iberville store, Petland will be giving away pet food and selling T-Shirts and frisbees to benefit IMMS. From 2PM to 4PM the event will be relocated to the Pass Christian Harbor.
